It's a shame that they had to abandoned those three cars. what do you guys think happened to those poor cars after the had left them abandoned? Shame really, Especially the Lotus Esprit. It still can be salvageable.

If we're lucky, they ended up as trophies. If we're not so lucky...

That set of alloys really made the Esprit looks awesome.

I just hope that the crew were able to take back the car.

They've probably been torched. Sad, considering that Esprit was still a reliable runner and little had been done to modify it.

Their only saving grace would be if the film crew kept the keys. The police could have gone back and picked up the cars. Those cars deserved to be saved.
Just goes to show that extremists are everywhere in the world.

I never considered that. That made me bummed even more. I see much potential can be done towards the lotus.

The Argentine police impounded them. They are in a weird state of limbo since the police told Top Gear to come and get them but Top Gear told them to burn them. Maybe things will smooth over and they go back and play some footie or more likely a corrupt government official will suddenly decide he wants a Supercar and will seize the Lotus for his own pleasure. Either way they are currently just sitting in an Argentine impound lot awaiting their uncertain fate.

Too bad you're not part of the spelling Gestapo. With a single P.

You misspelled Gestapo! You also didn't capitalize two of your sentences!

Or, they're still there by the side of the road. Maybe the Argentinians don't even want to touch them. There's still a glimmer of hope...

I figured that was the likely situation. The BBC is probably being assessed storage fees, compounding daily.

You missed this part:
"It's a shame that they had to abandoned those three cars."
Should be:
